Create a digital stamp in your browser
MakeStamp is an online stamp maker for people who need a clean, editable stamp design for a business document, presentation, or mockup. The editor opens with a sample design, so you can change it right away instead of reading a long introduction or searching a catalog first. Choose a starting layout only when you need one; your chosen layout opens in the editor, ready to customize.
How to make a stamp online
- Open Templates in the editor if you want a starting layout, or keep the sample design.
- Select text, shapes, borders, or an image on the canvas and adjust its content, position, size, and color in the controls.
- Review the preview, then choose an available export format and download the finished design.
Edit each part on its own: change a company name without rebuilding the border or moving the other details. You can start blank instead of using a template, and you can undo or redo changes while refining the layout. For a focused walkthrough, read our guide to making a business stamp.
Choose the right file for your task
The editor can export PNG, JPG, and SVG designs. PNG is usually the straightforward choice when you want to place a stamp image over a document or slide. JPG works for a regular image on a solid background. SVG is a vector format that can stay sharp when resized in compatible software. MakeStamp creates a design file; it does not print, manufacture, mail, or register a physical rubber stamp. Check the requirements of the document or app where you plan to use the file before relying on a particular format.
Your draft stays in this browser
You do not need to create an account to edit and export a design. Drafts, including text and uploaded logo assets, are saved in this browser when saving is available. They are not shared as public templates. Clearing browser data or switching devices can remove a saved design, so download a copy you want to keep.
A design tool, not an official seal service
Use the online stamp maker for your own business materials, prototypes, and other permitted design work. A downloaded image is not proof of authorization and is not certified for legal, medical, notarial, government, or school use. Rules vary by location and document type; check with the relevant organization before using a stamp where formal approval is required. MakeStamp does not provide replicas of another organization’s seal or claim that a design has official status.
